SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs new product and technologies and makes improvements to the existing ones. Leads medium size R&D projects.

ESSENTIAL DAY TO DAY FUNCTIONS:

• Lead technical side of the project from the idea to the completion of the type tests.
• Design components for Medium Voltage switchgear per specification
• Interface with purchasing and vendors in the selection and approval of component parts and assemblies.
• Prepare written documentation of processes, material requirements, test results and project activity as required.
• Provide Engineering support to Sales/Marketing and Manufacturing on new and existing products and processes.
• Develop schedules, coordinate and manage projects of minor to major size with little to no supervision.
• Give direction to lower level technical personnel such Project Engineers I, CAD Designers, CAD Operators and Technicians.
• Consult with Customer representatives to discuss product requirements and specifications when design or manufacturing problems are involved
• Prepare budgetary and resource information regarding projects or parts of projects in area of responsibility.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. 3-8 years progressive experience in Engineering design and/or development.
• Work on highly technical and involved projects constantly challenged with new problems
• Strong technical knowledge related to all aspects of the analog and digital circuit board design.
• Proven experience with computers; Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
• Ability to effectively communicate, prepare presentations and update reports, lead meetings.
• Demonstrated experience with microcontroller technologies or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated design, test and troubleshooting experience with analog and digital circuits and electronic test equipment.
• Understanding of quality and reliability of electronics components and systems. · Able to read and interpret technical standards.
• Able to write technical documents, like test reports, engineering standards and technical papers. · Wide degree of creativity.
• High degree of initiative to finish tasks on time.
• Drive to learn new methodologies

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Function as an Electrician/Journeyman Wireman for K.E.; Installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state and local electrical codes along with all K.E. policies and procedures. Support activities at commercial, industrial, institutional and residential locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems in full support of K.E. safety, operations and productivity initiatives.
• Use industry related hand tools and power tools.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
• Feed to, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
• Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
• Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings.
• Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems.
• Delegate tasks and assist with training other employees.
• Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members.
• Maintain workflow schedule to ensure all K.E. productivity objectives are met.
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors.
• Adhere to all K.E.’s safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

• Should hold a current Journeyman Wireman license
• Ability to install power systems: lighting, fire protection, security, and data network.
• Ability to build and install control panels and provide maintenance to systems.
• Experience using Electrical Single Line blueprints.
• Experience finding and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
• Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations.
• Experience helping with the management of a project and crew.
• Ability to manage material estimates.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and pre-planning abilities.

Responsible for performing a broad range of administrative, technical, and clerical duties

In support of a department’s operations. Duties generally consist of moderately complex,

Misc. projects, which may require use of independent judgment and initiative.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Completes special projects, performing necessary research and data collection, as assigned.
• Compiles statistics, data, and other supporting documentation and information necessary to complete assigned projects; may perform routine analysis.
• Prepares reports or studies on a regular basis regarding department’s operations. Acts as information source on organizational policies and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains files and records related to department business ensuring company policy is followed.
• Reviews/audits documents and other work received by the department for completeness and adherence to guidelines. Takes corrective action, as necessary. Prepares, processes, and tracks department paperwork.
• Uses a computer to enter, update, and download data, maintain records, and generate correspondence, documents, and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
• May require 3-4 years administrative assistance experience or related department support experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General office skills, including ability to operate a computer and enter data accurately;

• Experience working with Word and Excel or similar spreadsheet software.

Function as an Apprentice Electrician, under a certified or licensed Electrician for K.E electricians with installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all K.E policies and procedures. Support activities at commercial, industrial, institutional and residential project locations

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work with an Electrician to splice and terminate wires at junction points.
• Clean, gather and transport materials to electricians on the construction site.
• Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members.
• Maintain workflow schedule to ensure all K.E. productivity objectives are met.
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors.
• Adhere to all K.E’s safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

• Must be currently enrolled or working on enrollment in an approved Apprentice program.
• Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, branch circuits, and specialty systems.
• Knowledge of magnetic induction, three-phase transformers, conductors and wiring methods.
• The ability to read and understand electrical single line blueprints.
• Familiar with aspects of operation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment and how to safely use them.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position of the Electrical Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects at various stages, overseeing projects from pre-construction to closeouts. Project Managers will manage the bid process, analyze blueprints/specifications, review proposals/project requirements, secure required permits/utility services, coordinate materials procurement, ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal/state laws, provide status updates and maintain documentation records. Responsibilities include material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders request for information, pay application support and close-out documents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review approved projects to determine specific needs such as equipment modification and renovations specifications.
• Coordinate design personnel for the implementation of design documents for capital projects as needed using knowledge of engineering design and technology and ensuring compliance of plans to various regulatory codes.
• Develop initial design and conceptual estimates.  Assure the generation of an adequate variety of conceptual design alternatives to satisfy the client needs and the requirements of the project specifications.
• Generally acts as the leading individual contributor and coordinator of design problem solving. As such, prepare and write construction documents, specifications and contracts for routine and complex construction projects.
• Coordinate activities of in-house trades and construction staff and outside contractors assigned to projects to ensure compliance to specifications and project completion timetables.
• Responsible for overseeing that all necessary appropriate testing is completed and subsequent information is reported.
• Review bid proposals submitted by contractors and make recommendations upon analysis of bid amount and/or qualifications of bidder.
• Prepare funding authorization, process invoices and control all project finances.
• Monitor the development of the project assuring that the target dates are met and expenditures are within budget
• Contacts architects, construction engineers or design consultants to procure services, obtain agreement on plan methods and timetables and coordinate construction planning.
• Will need to act as construction project designer using Auto/CAD on internal construction projects.
• Provide engineering support for outside engineering consultants.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

• Must have five (5) or more year’s extensive experience / knowledge of construction, design, and  cost management as an Electrical Project Manager or similar position in a Commercial, Institutional and Industrial environment
• Experience managing projects 5 million and above
• Experience managing large Commercial, Institutional and Industrial projects preferred
• Have thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.)
  as well as an understanding of Company and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities
• Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and Power Point
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image
• Demonstrated leadership and project success are expected.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Are organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
